Marco's Beouf Bourguignon


I was recently sent a Forman and Field box containing all the ingredients needed to make Marco Pierre White's Beef Bourguignon featured on the Knorr website. My box contained the following ingredients:
  • 800g beef brisket
  • 200g pearl onions
  • 200g wild mushrooms
  • unsmoked bacon
  • 125ml port
  • leek and celery
  • thyme and parsley
  • Bolney Estate Lychgate Red Wine
  • Knorr Rich Beef Stock Pot
This is my kind of comfort food at this time of year, perfect for a long lazy weekend when time doesn't matter too much. All it needs is some crusty bread to mop up the rich beefy juices but you could always serve some creamy mash alongside if you wished.
