Marley Spoon Recipe Boxes

Korean Beef

I reviewed a Marley Spoon recipe box last November, just as they were launching their new family meal box service. The company appears to have gone from strength to strength and I was lucky enough to try another 'summer BBQ box' recently.

Marley Spoon sends tasty, fresh ingredients (and I can vouch for the freshness) to your door making it easy to create and cook a delicious meal at home. There's a range of different pans to choose from to suit your specific needs, ranging from a two person box costing up to £42 or a family box which feeds four and costs up to £60. You can choose whether you want two, three or four meals included in the box and unlike normal veg/fruit boxes, you can pick exactly which meals you fancy. Next week the choices include Korean Beef and Kale Stir Fry (as shown above), Mexican Corn on the Cob (below), Aubergine and Basil Pomodoro, Herbed Sea Bream Traybake or Caramelised Sumac Chicken.

Corn on the Cob

Ingredients are delivered in a large cardboard box insulated using upcycled sheeps wool with step by step recipe cards to help you recreate the dishes you've chosen. All of the products arrived fresh and in good condition, unlike some veg boxes I've had in the past, with fairly long use by dates on all of the ingredients.

For time poor working parents who want to be able to cook nutritious healthy food for their children, you really wont find anything easier than this.

Disclosure: I was sent a box to review. All thoughts are my own.
