No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares

An easy no bake chocolate peanut butter bar recipe. Perfect for parties

No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares

These No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares are so easy and quick to make but taste AMAZING! There is something so moreish about the smokingly dark chocolate, salty peanut butter and sweet crumbly base. Word of warning - you wont stop at just one!

I really do love no bake bars like this one. In fact my two eldest children (9 and 11)  quite happily make these by themselves and even my three year old loves mixing the peanut butter base together.

PEANUT BUTTER GOODNESS

Peanut butter is packed with protein and healthy fats, which is great for keeping your tummy full for longer. It also has a high level of antioxidant Vitamin E and muscle friendly potassium. We LOVE peanut butter in this house.

WHAT IF YOU HAVE A PEANUT ALLERGY?

Feel free to swap the peanut butter for other nut butters like almond or cashew, if you have a peanut allergy. Or, why not have a go at making your own nut butter at home?

TOP TIPS FOR MAKING THE CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER SQUARES

  • Use crunchy peanut butter instead of smooth for extra texture.
  • If you don't like dark chocolate use milk chocolate for the topping instead, or a mixture of dark and milk.
  • Drizzle the squares with melted white chocolate for a double chocolate hit.
  • These bars will keep in the fridge in a sealed container for up to 5 days so they are the perfect make ahead treat.
