I love using honey, but if Im honest, it's so expensive that I buy the cheapest, which means I'm missing out on the variety of taste. This has reminded me that I need to be more discerning

ReplyDeleteLove honey, we use it a lot, adding a spoonful to tea instead of sugar, or with blini & pancakes. I don't cook with Manuka, as it is too pricey, but it's lovely with pancakes

ReplyDeleteI adore honey - on toast, in cooking, a teaspoon in hot water with lemon juice, in cakes, on cheddar biscuits (don't knock it till you've tried it!) - it's so versatile and really good for the immune system!

ReplyDeleteWe try to substitute honey for refined sugar wherever possible - but I think it's only does real good if you buy decent honey and unfortunately, even for quite run of the mill stuff that can be really quite expensive.

ReplyDeleteWe use Manuka Honey medicinally. It is both antibacterial and antiviral (provided taken off a spoon and not put in hot water). Wonderful for sore throats and colde - and lots of other things.
