     Taking the stress out of mess with Regina Blitz kitchen rolls at our build a burger BBQ night #TheStressofMess Summer is almost over (boo!) but what a summer we've had. There have been BBQ's aplenty here and while the weather is still nice we'll hopefully squeeze in a few more.

We're pretty big meat eaters in this house (especially hubby and my eldest daughter), but over recent years I've become increasingly aware of the environmental impact of eating meat and have tried to reduce the amount we consume and make sure what we do eat is raised in a sustainable way. When possible I try to shop at my local butchers who stock meat from local Cornish farms, but this isn't always easy living in a very rural location, with a full time job, 3 kids to look after and a busy house to run. Consequently, I often end up buying meat from the supermarket as part of my fortnightly online grocery shop. Mums seem to get a lot of the praise when it comes to raising the kids and running a busy household and it’s certainly true that I do most of the cooking, cleaning and ferrying the kids in this house.

Chilli Dogs served with chunky chilli con carne and succulent pork sausages in a brioche bun. Don't forget the mustard, hot sauce and fresh chillies! Perfect food for watching the footie on TV.
