Sausage Noodle Stir Fry

A child friendly sausage noodle stir fry recipe with a soy, honey and orange sauce

Sausage Noodle Stir Fry

Strange combination isn't it? Who would have thought sausages would work so well in a stir fry. But they do and this sausage noodle stir fry is a real crowd pleaser. The sauce, made up of soy sauce, orange juice and honey, gives the dish a wonderfully fragrant flavour and the sausages give it some meatiness.

Top Tips For Making Sausage Noodle Stir Fry

  • You can chop and change the vegetables as you wish - courgettes, sweetcorn and cabbage would work well.
  • Make it veggie by replacing the sausages for tofu or quorn, or use vegetarian sausages.
  • Like it extra hot? Add another red chilli. If you're making this for children you can omit the chilli completely.

  2. That looks delicious. I'm sure my family would love it and the good thing about using sausages is that they are pre-seasoned.

  3. Hi Beth, glad you finally managed to ditch the old cooker.

This recipe sounds great - if I could only get some decent sausage over here. :-(

BTW, I've given you an award, stop by the blog sometime to collect it.

  4. I'm sure sausage would be delicious. A lot of people put sausage in their egg rolls, so same idea. I love the sesame seeds on top, too!
