Slow Cooker Gammon in Pineapple Juice

An easy 2 ingredient Slow Cooker Gammon in Pineapple Juice recipe.

Slow Cooker Gammon in Pineapple Juice

This slow cooker gammon in pineapple juice is so easy to make and tastes amazing. I find the pineapple juice makes the gammon lovely and sweet, and slow cooking it keeps it nice and tender.

I usually serve it with Macaroni Cheese (my favourite) and peas, for an easy weeknight dinner that the whole family love.

SLOW COOKING MEAT IN FRUIT JUICES

Slow cooking gammon in fruit juices is really popular. Pineapple juice is great with gammon but apple juice works well too if you can't get hold of pineapple juice.

If you don't mind using fizzy drinks then Cola and Cherry Cola produce a fantastic tasting joint. I've also heard from a blogger friend of mine that Iron Bru is good with gammon as well.
